Family!

We were lucky enough to be able to host my Aunt Lise and family earlier in January. We were originally supposed to go to Iroquois Falls and have a big family christmas at my Grandma's house, but we had to cancel our christmas plans so that we can afford to go to Travis's sister's destination wedding in the Florida Keys in March. Thankfully, Lise was willing to change her plans and book an overnight layover in Toronto on her way home from Iroquois Falls to Wales! So she came to our place for the night. It was such a nice visit, chaotic, loud, and entertaining!

It was really nice getting to chat with my cousin Steve again, it's been a long time since I saw him last! Rowan was awesome too, he kept everyone entertained with some pretty awesome card tricks and magic tricks. He had Travis confounded more than once. At least until Travis introduced him to an iOS game called Cargo Bot. Apparently it's a programming game, that they both find irresistible. Ashwyn is essentially the same age as Arthur (a month older) and the three little boys, Arthur, Ashwyn, and Felix had a blast! Kev was invaluable at keeping the littlest guys occupied as well. Despite staying up until almost 10pm (4 hours past their normal bedtime!) the kids were amazing and well behaved.

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone again at Nellie Lake this summer! Hopefully we get some nice weather for the visit!
