Nellie Lake

At the beginning of August, we packed up shop and drove up to Nellie Lake to visit my Grandma and all the friends and family we have up there.

As always, we stopped at Tim Horton's on our way out for coffee and doughnuts! Felix wound up falling asleep for a quick 30 minute nap clutching his doughnut. With the head bobbing he was doing while falling asleep, he wound up with icing and sprinkles all over his face :)

The weather wasn't all that cooperative, so we spent a fair amount of time inside.

Once we got some sun though, we were down at the beach! Arthur even swam on his own with only the help from his floaty vest! Rowan was a great help in getting Arthur to start swimming too :)

I love Felix's shadow here, it really shows how excited he was!

Travis got to fulfill his inner Northern-Ontarian and make a huge bonfire while clearing up Grandma's yard with Kev and Rowan and the boys. They burned a significant amount of wood over a few short days despite the thunderstorms and hail storm we kept getting!

But, before we knew it, it was time to pack up and head home. Once again we had a great time at the lake. So happy to be able to go up there and visit with everyone!
