On Thursday Felix and I headed to the park with momstown kw for the morning. It's our first real visit there since March as the park was under construction and difficult to get to from the bus stop. Felix was *delighted*, especially with the duckies:
He threw them his cheerios and thought it was awesome that they were so close to the stroller. It really reminded me of a similar incident with Arthur at age 2 when the same ducks (or at least ducks at the same park) when the ducks took his peanut butter sandwich right from his hand! Now that the construction is mostly done there I'm really looking forward to taking both boys again. Victoria Park is one of our favourite summer spots :)
On the way home we stopped to get an up close and personal look at one of the swans. Felix was too tired to be very impressed but still loved seeing the "geek" (geese)
Meanwhile, normal life had resumed for about a day, and then Travis's volunteer work started at the LPGA event in Waterloo. He walks around with a group of the pros and takes their scores down for them. The boys and I have been managing, and mostly succeeding at keeping distracted ;)
Notice the marker everywhere? Not exactly an "in the lines" kind of guy yet ;)
And playing with his playdoh kit from Grandma :) "Look Mommy! Hair!" lol
I guess some of the birthday presents were a hit after all ;)
