This December Travis and I (along with our friend Dave) headed to Toronto to see I Mother Earth and Kevin Smith at The Sound Academy in Toronto. It was the Dean Blundell Christmas Fest so there were a pile of other comedians and bands as well.
The Salads
Overall it was an ok show. IME only played a 3 song set, and the last song was a Led Zeppelin cover.

Kevin Smith didn't get to do the Q&A that he normally does with the audience because Dean and the other radio hosts kept him monopolized. At one point they told Kevin Smith that you get pink eye from feces contamination when Kevin went on a tangent about how much he…enjoys…his wife's nether regions. Kevin had apparently never heard that factoid, having never had pink eye before, and Travis shouted out from the audience that you get "pink eye from the brown eye". He was so proud that he made Kevin Smith laugh and repeat his joke!

As a second, less successful attempt to either heckle Kevin Smith or make him laugh, Travis and Dave Shiva blasted during the radio panel section of the show. It sounds dirtier than it was, and might make any fans of the tv show "The League" laugh. Either way, the highlight of the evening were the two acoustic IME songs. It was amazing. Goosebump inducing.
