On the weekend we went to the Waterloo Air Show. We've accidentally watched some of the planes on previous years, but this is the first time we actually packed up specifically to go find a good vantage point. Unfortunately, we didn't go right to the event, the tickets were pricey ($60/each, including the kids!) Luckily, last year we discovered that if you drive down Fairway Road, you can see the airport and the planes easily. We weren't the only ones with that idea, cars lined the sides of the road, but we managed to get a decent spot with a good vantage point.
Probably the most exciting thing to see was the Snowbirds doing their cool formations and tricks. We went back the second day because the boys loved the show so much, and Arthur kept asking "Is that the Snowbirds? When are the Snowbirds going to be here?"
We'll definitely go back again next year, so much fun!
