Late November and early December are fun times. The kids start to get excited for christmas now that Arthur's birthday is past, and the gears start turning on the yearly wishlists!
First up though was the bi-annual dentist appointments. This was actually Felix's first cleaning and he did really well. No cavities! Arthur still had a couple to fill in, but no new cavities, so he had his fixed and we were good to go. So far the boys are just slightly anxious about the dentist, but are overall happy to go because of the cool treasure chest they get to pick prizes from afterward.
This is an activity sheet Arthur brought home from school. For those who can't read first-grader it says "Peace smells like flowers. Peace looks like a butterfly. Peace sounds like songs. Peace tastes like honey. Peace feels like my Steelers Bear"
These are some foam craft ornaments that I picked up from our new Target. The boys absolutely loved this kit! Can you guess which are Arthur's and which are Felix's?
And on to wishlists. Arthur of course wants Lego, specifically Lego Lord of the Rings, Lego Super Heroes, Lego Star Wars, and Lego The Hobbit. Felix wants Lego too, favouring Lego Spiderman and Lego Star Wars. Bonus points if there's a Darth Vader Lego mini-figure included! Arthur had a lot of fun with the giant teddy bears, but Felix doesn't like them as he says the "eyes are scary"
And the piece de resistance, move over race car bed, there's a new bed in town! The boys actually refused to get out of this thing, they loved it so much. We had to drag them out to go look at the rest of the toys at Toys'R'Us!
