We had a quiet thanksgiving this year, with the one anomaly being that our dishwasher decided to up and quit the Thursday before the holiday weekend. Travis worked on it for days before we finally decided we'd probably need a new one. Luckily, Travis' parents offered to buy one for us as an early christmas gift! The new one is now installed, and we absolutely love it. It takes forever to run (over two hours!) but it's so quiet you don't even know it's running until the water starts to drain :)
And what is the most fun part of getting new appliances? Why the cardboard boxes of course!
It also makes for a good hiding place while playing hide and seek. Disclaimer: giggle at your own risk, do not attempt hiding with a traitorous Steelers Bear who will try to make a run for it…
