Felix is hitting that stage where he’s growing in leaps and bounds. And not just outgrowing his clothes…he’s suddenly realizing that Arthur gets to do all kinds of cool stuff, and your ear drums will not thank you if you don’t figure out a way for Felix to do the same things. Recent examples are eating corn off the cob, using a fork and spoon, and drinking out of water bottles.
Later on in the week we headed to Playfit Kids with Lindsay and her girls. We practically had the place to ourselves! The big kids ran and played like crazy, leaving the babies to fend for themselves. Which resulted in a full blown baby wrestling match.
Felix clearly wasn’t winning this match, until he capitalized on his advantage over Zoey…he’s still faster! We also discovered that Felix isn’t the only one with sibling envy, Zoey is also convinced that she can do anything her older sister can.
As a special treat after playfit, we all got to take the same bus back to Kitchener. I’m sure this was more of a thrill for the kids than it was for Lindsay and I, but still fun ;)
