All Hugged Out

Today we packed up and went to the Totspot to meet Celia and Erika, and Lindsay and Sienna. As usual it was a blast! On the way there Arthur entertained me on the bus with his chatter: "I don't want to go to the totspot, I want to go home. I don't want to go home, I want to go to the park. Actually the park is closed, I want to go to the movies. The movies is closed. The big park and the little park is closed. The totspot looks like the little park. I want to go to the totspot!" Preschooler logic, what can I say! Luckily he came to the conclusion that he wanted to go where we were actually going. When we got to the Totspot, Celia was actually waiting for us at the door (coincidentally I'm sure) so she could take Felix for some squishy baby snuggles leaving me free to wrangle Arthur. It's so nice to have extra hands around to take the baby.

Arthur was in a friendly mood. You might even say overly friendly. He just couldn't get enough of Sienna, he was hugging her and kissing her...knocking her down and laying on top of her, inappropriately tickling her...good thing they're only two or he would have been thrown out of there for being indecent! All that aside, the kids played together very well. It was very nice, relaxing even. Considering that the last time Arthur and Sienna were together Arthur was being very irritating, poking her, tugging her hair, etc. Classic little boy crush symptoms! Today was great though, they played on the same imaginary train, they played peek-a-boo at the snack table, it was a great day for photos. Unfortunately Arthur turned into a whiney toddler again when we got home but to be fair he was definitely tired out from all that playing today.

Tonight my project is to convert all my home videos to .avi format and burn them on DVD, as well as burn some full sized photos for a few people. It just takes way too long to e-mail them, and there really is no way to e-mail videos. This could take a while! For now here are some pictures and a video from today:

I love this picture!
