Retro Post–Sticking Out Tongue

When we had moved into our new house, we settled in quickly. It was so nice not being in an apartment building. Especially the part where I didn't have to haul baby, stroller, and groceries up to the third floor via stairs (there was no elevator). We were still fighting with Arthur's clogged tear ducts, if it didn't clear by 12 months he would need a surgical procedure to fix it. But otherwise all was going wonderfully! Arthur was going through a sticking out tongue phase…

Arthur had his first swimming lessons, which he passed of course! Complete with a little report card and certificate.

And we got new furniture. It was inevitable really, we didn't realize how awful our old furniture (we got it for free or cheap from friends and various garage sales) actually was until we put it in our nice new house. The new furniture fit much better!

We spent a lot of time outside during the summer :)

And Arthur worked on his many facial expressions. I think he developed them based on which ones made us laugh the most ;)

If it's possible, Arthur seemed to get chubbier and chubbier. A super happy little guy.

It's so funny looking back on these pictures now that Arthur is four years old. I definitely see the same expressions on his face now that he had as a little (big?) baby! And he's still such a happy little guy though he's lost his big belly ;)
